About This Athlete
I’ve been active on and off my whole life, then at a low point, 180 pounds (high point!), I decided to get off my butt and back into the gym then spent 7 years doing triathlons. While training for a 1/2 Ironman, I decided I needed to get the knee surgery I’d put off for way too many years. It was then that I decided to follow through with checking out Crossfit after post surgery physical therapy. Since then, July 14th, 2010, Crossfit fills a place in my life that can only be understood by those that “get it”. Nothing tastes better than being Crossfit feels”.
Congrats for qualifying for the Games, from a fellow Master qualifier 55+ from Utah.

Posted at 9:47 PM PDT on April 28, 2011I have to work on my OHS for sure this year, I wish they would have done 30 muscle ups and 10 OHS! I would have done much better but oh well, we never know what's going to come out of the hopper!
Posted at 2:58 PM PDT on April 15, 2011Marcia, how does it feel to be in 2nd place your age division in the world? That is so exciting! Keep up the good work and we will be watching you at the games.
